The Smiths Medical Mini-Trach 2 offers exceptional performance with ease of use. The guarded scalpel enables correct midline incision to be made while minimising the risk of damage to the posterior tracheal wall. The curved design supports the introduction of the cannula with a size of 4mm. The neck tapes help securely fix the cannula to the neck. The catheter included is a size of 10F and offers low friction for initial suction following cannulation. The Mini-Trach II is commonly used for Mini-Tracheotomy in conditions such as stoma patency, weaning off IPPV, O2 therapy, coma patients and emergency airway obstruction.
