Runner's knee (chondromalacia) is a condition where the cartilage under the patella (kneecap) becomes worn and softens. It is a common conditions in athletes, and this brace is designed to offer protection and support for the patella while generally stabilising the knee joint with medical springs acting as splints on either side of the knee.
