Electrical Stimulation for Menstrual Pain with NuroKor

NuroKor’s Medical Science Director, Dr Irem Tezer Ates, and Dr Esen Ertur of Sakarya Government Hospital have conducted research on how electrical stimulation can be used to manage menstrual pain by using NuroKor’s bioelectronic technology.
Although menstrual pain is so common among women, there are few effective treatments for pain relief. A large percentage of women who experience menstrual pain say that it interferes with their daily activities, including work, school, and other social activities. There is an obvious need for new solutions when we consider the possible effects of menstruation pain and the inconsistent efficacy of available treatments.
NuroKor conducted a case study to prove using the NuroKor Lifetech Mibody would reduce pain associated with menstruation. Four nurses who experienced menstrual pain used the NuroKor Lifetech Mibody for 20 minutes, up to six times a day. The findings of the case study showed all four nurses had reduced pain after using the electrical stimulation device, and even experienced pain relief for up to 12 hours after use. In addition, the nurses were able to increase their daily activity and informed that their overall quality of life improved (Tezer Ates, 2022).
So what does this mean?
Fundamentally, the research conducted by NuroKor is pointing in the direction that electrical stimulation can be a reliable, effective treatment for menstruation discomfort. All four nurses were able to work during menstruation, had pain reduction that lasted for extended periods of time, and were able to accomplish more.
To summarise, menstrual pain sufferers have a bright future thanks to NuroKor’s bioelectrical stimulation technology. The Mibody was used in their study to show how even very severe menstruation pain can be decreased for a long time. Although it can be used with other treatments like medicines, electrical stimulation effectively relieves pain on its own.
Being practical and not inhibiting daily life are two of the most important criteria for menstrual pain remedies.
“NuroKor’s technology is designed not only to give a personalised treatment – each device has multiple settings so you can find the one best for you – but it is also delivered through ultra-wearable devices that you can use on the go.”
